Ncrack is a free and open-source, high-performance, network authentication cracking tool from the creator of NMap. It is intended for use as a way of testing computer hosts and networking devices for poor passwords. The tool is available for download and installation on Windows, Linux, and macOS, or as a source-code download which can be compiled for use on these same operating systems. Ncrack can perform dictionary-based attacks as well as brute force attacks.
